7月17日達卡報道，孟加拉國能源部的一名高級官員周一在達卡告訴標普全球普氏能源資訊記者，孟加拉國計劃建造3個小型浮式儲存和再氣化裝置，這些小型裝置具有日儲存和再氣化1.5億至2億立方英尺天然氣的能力。

　　他說，這些小型浮式儲存和再氣化裝置將建在孟加拉灣和卡納普里河已經建成的平臺和碼頭的附近以便使小型液化天然氣運輸船容易錨泊。

　　這位官員說，這些小型浮式儲存和再氣化裝置將是對目前正在孟加拉國建設中的更大浮式儲存和再氣化裝置的補充。其中一個小型浮式儲存和再氣化裝置將建在位于孟加拉灣的Sangu平臺上。

　　Bangladesh plans to build three small floating storage and regasification units with a capacity of around 150-200 MMcf/d of natural gas, a top official at the energy ministry told S&P Global Platts Monday.

　　He said the FSRUs would be built adjacent to the platform and jetties in already built in the Bay of Bengal and on the River Karnaphuli to facilitate the anchoring of small LNG carrying ships.

　　These FSRUs would be in addition to the bigger-capacity FSRUs currently under construction, the official said.

　　One of the small FSRUs will be built at the Sangu platform in the Bay of Bengal, the official said.
